This game was an important game in a weekend chess tourney held in middlesbrough. We were both on 2/2 the only people still on full points in the third round of five. My opponent sat at the table and could just about see over the table from his seat he was so young. He came from a strong chess playing family from singapore.

this loss meant i had to win both my remaining games to get maybe 2nd place, and i managed to win 1 but not the final one. So I finished 5th in the intermediate section (under 145 grade) of the congress. The junior went on to win the intermediate section by a full point.
All his opponents were battle hardened strong club players not juniors so he did well. 0-1
